Who we are
Proclivity Studios rebuilds websites for Australian businesses and helps them start using AI in their work. You can reach Levi Leckenby, who runs it, at levi.leckenby@proclivitystudios.com.
What we collect and why
- When you send the request form on our home page: your name, business name, email address, website address, the kind of request, and anything you write in the note. We use these to reply to your request and talk with you about it.
- The page and campaign you came from, such as a region or email campaign named in the link you followed, and the page path. This tells us which of our messages reached you.
- Your IP address, held briefly in memory to stop the form being abused. It also appears in our hosting provider's short-term access logs. We don't store it with your request.
We need your name and email address to reply to you. Everything else is optional.
Where your details go
- Microsoft Azure, Australia East. We keep a copy of each request in a database in Australia.
- Resend. The email service that sends your request to Levi. Resend is a United States company. It stores the email, its metadata and logs in the United States, and sends it from servers in Japan.
- Google Workspace (Gmail). Levi's inbox, where your request arrives. Google may store it in the United States and other countries.
- Stripe. If you subscribe, Stripe runs the checkout and payment. It receives the details you enter there and the campaign the link came from.
- Google Fonts and jsDelivr. Our pages load fonts and scripts from these services, which receive your IP address when a page loads.
We don't sell your details or use them for advertising.
How long we keep it
We keep requests in our database and in Levi's inbox for 24 months, then delete them at our next quarterly clean-up, so for at most about 27 months. Resend keeps its copy under its own retention policy.
Seeing, correcting or deleting your details
Email levi.leckenby@proclivitystudios.com to ask what we hold about you, to correct it, or to have it deleted. Please write from the email address you used on the form, so we know the request comes from you. We aim to respond within 30 days.
Complaints
If you're unhappy with how we've handled your details, email us first and we'll work to put it right. If you're still not satisfied, you can complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.
